The Parks, Recreation and Conservancy Advocacy Committee is forming an Ad Hoc committee with two main objectives:
- Review recreational programming grant applications submitted from qualifying Beloit non-profit organizations; make recommendations to City Council for the awarding of such funds.
- Provide feedback on community needs related to city offered programming to address equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging through recreational program offerings.
The committee will tentatively meet up to four times in 2023 and will further evaluate essential recreational programming needs in the community to achieve environmental, economic, and social sustainability.
