ARPA Park Funding
The Beloit City Council has appropriated $2.25 million dollars of ARPA funding towards park improvement projects. We are seeking the communities’ input on how best to allocate these funds. Director of Parks & Recreation, Matt Amundson, will facilitate public input opportunities at the following dates, times and locations:
Wednesday, February 8, 2023 6:30 PM Grinnell Hall
Monday, February 27, 2023 6:30 PM Merrill School
Every five years the City of Beloit updates or creates a new Open Space and Recreation Plan, this is often referred to as a Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan and is a requirement for DNR grant funding.
