Revised Activities Due to Freezing Temps:
Due to the forecast of extreme temperatures, City of Beloit Parks & Recreation Department has decided to cancel the following activities for safety purposes:
- Friday’s Luminary Walk around the Lagoon (MOVIE IS STILL ON)
- Saturday’s Walk at the Confluence from 1 pm to 3 pm
- Sunday’s Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides from 11 am to 1 pm along with the Welty Center’s Candle Dipping Activity 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

City of Beloit’s Winterfest Days are January 25 through 27, 2019. Winterfest is a family fun weekend of indoor festivities ONLY in 2019 due to the sub-zero temperatures forecast!
Friday: Bingo at Grinnell Hall from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Family movie (Christopher Robin) at the Rotary Center at 6:30 pm. There is also open skate at Edwards Ice Arena from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Saturday: Library Fun from 10:00 am to Noon. Family Gymnastics at the Y from Noon to 1:30 pm. Open skate at Edwards Ice Arena from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Doubles Round Robin Adult PIckleball tournament at BMHS at 2:30 pm.
Sunday: Euchre Tournament at Krueger’s Club House at 12:45 (pre-registration required before 1/23/19). Open Family Swim at the Y from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Edwards Ice Arena Open skate 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
