Take the whole family out for a family friendly Halloween stroll! The City of Beloit Public Works Department’s Parks & Recreation Division is hosting a Pumpkin Walk event from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Eagles Ridge Park as part of the Gateway Business Park’s 20th anniversary celebration.
The event will feature LED-lit jack-o-lanterns and other lanterns throughout the approximately 1/3-mile path. Glow sticks, flash lights and Halloween costumes are welcomed.
Join us for a not-too-spooky story being read by a Beloit Public Library Staff member. The first 45 kids will receive a free Halloween craft to make at home. Free books will be available from Literacy for Life.
This event is open to all of Beloit but parking is severely limited (on-street parking only). Please be courteous to the surrounding neighborhood.
Pumpkins in the Park – Sunday, October 24th 11am-12pm
Horace White Park: 825 E. Grand Ave.
Families will participate in a pumpkin scavenger hunt through Horace White Park. Scavenger Hunt Sheets will be picked up at the check-in table at 11am. Once the scavenger hunt is complete you will return it back to the check in table for your prize! One scavenger hunt sheet and prize per child.
Costumes are encouraged!
This is a FREE Event and limited to 40 participants. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!!

Downtown Beloit Halloween Scavenger Hunt – October 21st – 31st
Visit Downtown Beloit businesses on the 300 block of State Street and the 400 block of East Grand Avenue to find all of the spooky Halloween characters that are hidden in their windows! Prizes include gift cards and a gift basket.
This FREE event is brought to you by the City of Beloit and Downtown Beloit Association.

Skate Park
Telfer Park has skate park which is available for skateboarding, roller blades, and BMX riders. This unique “hybrid” skate park contains modular ramp elements for “pro” skaters, concrete stairs and metal rails for “street” skaters. Please click here for details.
